About
This is an archive of stuff that I dig. I collect lots of stuff, mostly 80’s toys. I do collect current Transformers as well as other toys that catch my attention. Besides toys, I do collect(occasionally), comics and trading cards(hockey and non-sports[I do have some football and basketball, but do not actively collect them]). I am a native New Yorker(I only live out of state for a little more than a year), and am a die-hard New York Rangers fan.
I love almost anything from the eighties, as it was a decade with a lot of imagination–from the toys, to the programs on television, to even the wacky foodstuffs and other “must-have” items companies were shilling. I miss the phone lines you needed you “parent’s permission” to call, as well as the imagination that went into advertising.
Here, you will see a mixture of all that I’ve said above. This is meant to be informative, as well as funny, and just an overall tribute to the things that have made me smile since I was a kid.

Hi Jason! Awesome handle btw. One of my favorite movie villains of all time. We must both be children of the 80s you definitely seem to gravitate towards alot of the same things as I. As promised in my blog I will do my keyboard video and you will be the first to know when I post it. Signed up on here so I could comment. I would love to exchanges links with you. Might even convert my blog over to this site. blogger was the first one I came to. At any rate thanks for stopping by and I am off to learn more about you by way of your entries! Your friend, Bob. Thanks Bobby. Yeah I noticed that we had a lot of common interests as well. Not only video games, but hockey cards as well. I still collect, although, not very often. Most of my cards are in a little dresser in my closet, and my binders are stored away. But I do follow my Rangers, and watch almost every game(unless they’re blacked out, as I’ve been living closer to Buffalo for the past 9 years than NYC). Can’t wait to see that video! 🙂

Hi, I run a clothing company called Monster who design horror/monster related shirts. I was wondering if you could blog about it in exchange for some free shirts and a post from our twitter and Facebook to this blog.
At the moment we got a sweet skeletor shirt and a Krang shirt.

So… you’ve been busy during the NHL lockout haven’t you?? Clothing company!! Wow. Very cool stuff. I especially like the Jason (slay) shirt and the Skeletor is pretty sweet too! Did I see Krang (pretty please with a cherry on top) in the mix too? Maybe you could do a Bebop and Rocksteady shirt that says “I’m with stupid” and have the arrow pointing both ways. I would be honored to blog about your site. I have no problem getting behind something that is both near and dear to my heart (namely glorifying serial killers and super villains). Just let me know what you had in mind and I will try my best. Haven’t been online (i.e. blog and twitter) as much as I would like of late, but with the weather getting cooler and most rummage sales and flea markets shrinking away I haven’ been able to do much in the way of collection adding, but writing about cool stuff would definitely help alleviate some of the late fall/early winter blahs. Thanks for keeping in touch! Look forward to hearing from you.

This is actually a company wanting me to do a review in exchange for some of their shirts. Though your idea for the Rocksteady/Bebop shirt is something you could pitch to them. The lockout is driving me crazy, and has thrown everything off for me. I’ve been adding games to the collection here and there(I really need to do an official count). If you’re open to it, we can exchange links. And how is the keyboard video coming along? 🙂

This is what I get for switchin’ to decaf.. lol. I’ll blame the insanity on the lock out too if you don’t mind. Keyboard video… hmm.. yes I am definitely going to have to do that a.s.a.p. a promise (or threat in this case) is a promise. I’m hoping I can start adding slowly to the NES collection really soon.. getting a little antsy. Keep in touch! GL with the review. TTYL

You inspired me to start collecting retro toys and things along with everyone in the links section. I’m getting some amazing stuff pretty soon and I’ll be posting them on Tumblr. Do you have a facebook? I’d love to keep in touch

Thanks for the comment, and I’m glad I have inspired you to take up the hobby. I wouldn’t mind friending you on FB, just post a link here, and I’ll send you the request. Also, post a link to your Tumblr. I’d like to see the collection so far.
